Vietnam does not have a lot of freedom. Vietnam is one of the world's lowest unemployment rates, placed at just 1.9% at the end of 2013. The largest sectors that Vietnamese people are employed in are the agriculture and service sectors. Many other Vietnamese people are employed in manufacturing industries, such as machine building, food processing or garment and shoe production. Vietnam also has a great production in fishing. In 2003, the total catch was about 2.6 million tons.
Exports
Vietnam's exports cast up to $128.9 billion. Vietnam receives coal from the north, and rice from the south. Throughout the 1990's, exports increased significantly, growing by as much as 20% to 30% in some years. Vietnam is the world's second largest exporter of coffee. Vietnam's main exports were crude oil (22.1%), textiles and garments (17.1&), footwear (10.5%), fisheries products (9.4%) and electronics (4.1%).
